About the Team:
Uriel Gochin – Founder & CEO
Uriel Gochin founded the Department of Threads (DOT) in 2005 as a generalist reseller of corporate clothing, PPE, and industrial cleaning products shortly after migrating to become a specialist in safety footwear. Through his dynamic vision, strategic leadership, and commitment to stockholding and customer service, DOT has become one of Southern Africa’s most trusted names in safety footwear. Today the DOT Groups products can be found in over 17 countries.
Len Gerber OBM – Financial Director
Mr. Len Gerber CA (SA) served as Financial Director of DOT Safety Footwear from 2007-2019.
Qualifying through Wits university and the Board of Accountants cum laude, he served as the senior financial manager at Adcock Ingram as well as Metcash until joining DOT in 2007.
His endearing spirit and kind approach are sorely missed.
He proved irreplaceable.
Oren Kirkel – Sales Director
Joining the company in 2010, Oren has been a major force and contributor to the growth and good reputation that has become synonymous with the DOT name. As the leader of the sales department, his dedication and devotion to the business and our customers are evident in all his interactions. With the latest launch of the JCB Safety Footwear range, we look forward to growing into new markets and territories.
Lindsey Sforza – Operations Manager
True to the DOT team, Lindsey has been with the company since its inception and forms the backbone of our operation. The efficiency of the DOT service is owed in no small part to Lindsey.
Mike Fox – Sales Expert
Formerly a shareholder and Director at G. Fox & Co. Mr. Mike Fox joined the DOT group right in the very beginning. Mr. Fox has over 51 years of experience in the safety and industrial market. Today Mike is a legend in the industry and has continuously contributed to the ongoing growth and success of DOT Safety Footwear.
